Message	in everyday driving, but the pay off is I don't worry about over heating and engine temperatures when I drive "The Dragon", or on hot summer days. I didn't get the thermostatic plate, because I felt it was something I didn't need since I always let my engine run for a few minutes before I drive away. The Setrab Cooler is very nice, but I went with the Earl's because I got it at a price I that I could not refuse and they are good cooler too. I glad I did the conversion and have piece of mind that I'm cooling my engine oil more effectively.
